Love LinkedIn BUT I want a way to embed a feed on a website. Twitter does that beautifully. You can embed an account feed or a list feed smoothly and dependably (no charge), at least at the time of writing.

I am not sure whether I would want a company feed or an entity like an organization but that would be really useful

That's an interesting point - I haven't embedded a Twitter feed on a website in a while, but it definitely is easily done. I wonder if there's a third party tool to embed a LinkedIn news feed

I have not done proper analysis but I have a hunch that when I do bother to post important stuff on LinkedIn it does lead to real clients more often than Twitter (which I frequent daily). That is why I call LinkedIn the “whorehouse”. Everyone knows what you are there for. It is okay to brag and promote yourself.

Twitter for me (living in a small country) is more like meeting your mates down the pub/at the café/other regular hangout depending on where you live. But if you happen to be a subject geek Twitter does give you visibility and some kind of quality stamp even if it doesn’t lead to direct sales.

To sum it up my (very much) hunch is that Twitter gives me brand credibility but LinkedIn actually brings in the cash.
