Greetings, reporters! Figma is a very wide ranging tool, which makes it a little hard to describe. It’s kind of like a whiteboard you share digitally - certainly not the only tool to come up with that idea. But I feel like Figma is catching on more than most.
I first became aware of Figma via its tool “FigJam” - a very cutesy name that comes from “jam,” which means collaborating in a kind of loose, brainstorming way.
FigJam and Figma are both very useful tools if you need to sketch something out. This might be a data visualization, story illustration, website redesign or even something like a scrollytelling progression. You are limited to 3 drafts on the free plan, but can delete old ones you don’t need.
Jam away, reporters!
