Make a sliding image with Juxtapose
I have a cool one for you, reporters! JuxtaposeJS is a really nifty little tool that kind of made waves a couple years ago, but then I feel like people forgot about it.
Basically, you take two images (of the same size) and put a slider between them, to show a change over time, or the effects of a storm, or something like that. I used an example of a building being built that later collapsed in New Orleans.
If you’re not sure what to use it for, Google Street View allows you to pull up pics from the same spot over several years, so that’s one idea. I don’t think you can embed a Juxtapose in a social media post, like a tweet, but you could take a screenshot of it to pique your audience’s interest. Strike a pose, reporters!
